Holidays Picture

Ken’s Yoga holidays are suitable for all levels and it is not unusual to have complete beginners and experienced Yoga teachers on the same course. One of Ken’s strengths is being able to adapt his teaching to individuals needs. The holidays draw a wide range of people, all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience.

Settings for the holidays are all unique – Ken appreciates places with character created by artistic people. He loves to return to the same retreats year after year, having built up friendships and connections with the people and the places.

There is always either a pool or the sea for swimming (sometimes both!) Most Centres offer single rooms for a supplement or guests are matched up to share rooms as many people come on their own.

On most holidays, the structure of the week includes 10 yoga classes (two classes a day with one free day per week). The morning class tends to be dynamic and flowing, based loosely around the Ashtanga form, with the afternoons improvised, developmental and restorative, bringing in the vast body of knowledge of the Feldenkrais Method.

Food is very important! It is generally vegetarian, always delicious and plentiful. Half or full board is usually included in the price. At some venues fish or meat can be offered on occasion for non vegetarians. There are no rules or strict regimes – these are holidays, not boot camps!

Flights and Travel insurance need to be booked separately. See the relevant company details for guidance on this.
